How to look good for senior pictures?

Antelope Island Causeway - Bonneville High Graduate

Here are some tips on how to look good for your senior pictures:

  1. Choose the right clothes. When choosing clothes for your senior pictures, it's important to choose something that makes you feel confident and comfortable. Avoid anything too revealing or too casual. A good rule of thumb is to choose clothes that flatter your figure and make you feel like yourself. Everyone has a favorite outfit! Start with that and then think about what you want to remember about High School. Letterman jackets, school swag, formal gown/suit, sometimes even props like your car or an instrument, or cap and gown!

  2. Get your hair and makeup done. A professional hair and makeup artist can help you look your best for your senior pictures. They can help you choose the right style for your hair and makeup, and they can help you apply it so that it looks natural and flattering.

  3. Get a good night's sleep. Getting a good night's sleep before your senior pictures will help you look your best. When you're well-rested, your skin will look brighter and your eyes will be more alert.

  4. Drink plenty of water. Drinking plenty of water will help your skin stay hydrated and looking its best.

  5. Eat a healthy breakfast. Eating a healthy breakfast will give you the energy you need to power through your senior pictures.

  6. Arrive early. Arriving early for your senior pictures will give you time to relax and get comfortable before the shoot starts.

  7. Have fun! Senior pictures can be fun, so make sure to enjoy yourself!

Here are some additional tips that you may find helpful:

  • Choose a variety of outfits. This will give your photographer more options to work with and will help you create a more interesting photo album.

  • Consider the location of your photo shoot. If you're shooting outdoors, choose outfits that are appropriate for the weather. If you're shooting indoors, you may want to choose more formal attire.

  • Accessorize wisely. A few well-chosen accessories can add a touch of personality to your photos. However, too many accessories can be distracting.

  • Pose naturally. The best senior portraits are the ones that look natural and candid. Don't be afraid to smile and laugh. HAVE FUN!

Owner – Newborn Specialist

I am a feisty, fun, driven artist with a fierce loyalty to family and friends. I love the Crossfit and the outdoors, but I balance that love with a love of ice cream and Netflix (everything needs balance). My job is the best job around and fabulous hubby and four kids are my biggest cheerleaders. I do all I do for them, just trying to get by like the rest of the world. I love Jesus, and find that love through the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I don’t like drama, public speaking or moody teenagers. That’s me in a nutshell…oh and cheese is the best part of life!
