Will your baby sleep through a Newborn Photography Session?

I think a lot of parents expect sleepy babies and quick easy posing for their baby photo sessions. Not every baby will be thrilled with our process! In fact we only have maybe (and I'm being generous) about 10-15% of babies we photograph that stay asleep and don't make a peep. You have to realize that we are settling babies for one pose then disturbing, then settling and posing again and again. We typically plan 10-12 poses in the 1.5-3 hours we shoot.

Think about it if you were soothed to sleep and then woken up and moved every time you got settled, would you stay asleep and not complain? (haha)

Here's a little peek into what we do! It's a patience game and baby is definitely in charge! Your baby will very likely cry in your session, but we know all the tricks in the book to settle them and comfort them, sometimes it takes some coaxing and a bit of time! Patience is the key! Trust us to do our magic and give you magic results!
