What should I wear to my photoshoot?

The panic is real! What do you wear for Senior Photos?

Most important, what you wear should make you feel your best, most confident, most truly you. Start with your favorite outfit. The one you’d pick before anything else if you didn’t already wear it yesterday!

GIRLS

A jumpsuit or romper: A jumpsuit or romper is great option for senior pictures. It's comfortable and stylish, and it can be dressed up or down depending on the occasion.

A dress: A dress is a classic choice for senior pictures. It can be formal or casual, depending on your personal style. If you choose a formal dress, make sure it fits well and is made of a high-quality fabric. If you choose a casual dress, make sure it's comfortable and something you'll feel confident in.

A skirt and top: A skirt and top is a versatile option that can be dressed up or down.

Jeans and a nice top: Jeans and your favorite top are a great option for a casual senior photoshoot. If you want to add a little bit of formality, you can add a blazer or a scarf.

GUYS

Guys are a little less complicated! Where something that represents you. Keep it casual, include some school swag, maybe even dress it up a bit with a sport coat or all out with a suit. Be you. Don’t over think it! Don’t Stress!

Don’t forget to represent who you are/were in your High School Experience!

No matter what you choose to wear, make sure it's something you feel comfortable and confident in. Your senior pictures are a special way to commemorate your high school years, so you want to look your best!

Here are a few additional tips for choosing an outfit for your senior photoshoot:

  • Consider the location of your photoshoot: If you're having your photoshoot outdoors, you'll want to choose an outfit that's appropriate for the weather. If you're having your photoshoot indoors, you have more flexibility with your outfit choices. Layering is good for cold weather.

  • Consider your personal style: Choose an outfit that reflects your personal style. If you're not sure what your personal style is, ask a friend or family member for help.

  • Don't be afraid to accessorize and bring “props” things that represent you: Accessories can add a touch of personality to your outfit. Choose accessories that you love and that will complement your outfit.

  • Get your hair and makeup done: Getting your hair and makeup done will help you look your best for your senior photoshoot. Book an appointment with a hair stylist and makeup artist well in advance of your photoshoot.

I hope these tips help you choose the perfect outfit for your senior photoshoot!

I am a feisty, fun, driven artist with a fierce loyalty to family and friends. I love the Crossfit and the outdoors, but I balance that love with a love of ice cream and Netflix (everything needs balance). My job is the best job around and fabulous hubby and four kids are my biggest cheerleaders. I do all I do for them, just trying to get by like the rest of the world. I love Jesus, and find that love through the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I don’t like drama, public speaking or moody teenagers. That’s me in a nutshell…oh and cheese is the best part of life!
